Speedmax CF SLX Road to Roth support
Terms and conditions
-
Please note: buying the bike does not include a free entry to Challenge Roth. Rather, it reserves you the right to purchase a guaranteed entry at the early bird price through a special process.
-
When you buy the Speedmax Road to Roth, you get the right to buy a guaranteed entry to Challenge Roth. Buying your entry slot this way uses a different ordering process and offers some benefits.
-
The Challenge Roth event organiser provides and manages the participation contract for Challenge Roth. Their terms and conditions apply. Please note that Canyon has no involvement in the participation contract.
-
Only the person named on the receipt shipped with the Speedmax CF SLX Road to Roth. You cannot transfer or nominate this right to another person. Please make sure the bike is ordered in the correct name before you buy.
-
The guaranteed right to enter is valid for 5 years. Once you register, the entry is valid for that specific year and cannot be postponed (example: if you buy the 2025 version of the Speedmax Road to Roth, you can participate in Challenge Roth from 2026 to 2030).
-
If you don’t use the guaranteed right to enter within this period, it will expire without any compensation, replacement, or alternative provided. This means you will lose the guaranteed right to participate. Additionally, the right to enter has no cash value and can’t be traded for money.
-
Your entry will cost the same as the standard early bird price for the event you’re taking part in.
-
When your Speedmax Road to Roth is delivered, you’ll find a QR code in the bottom bracket box. This will link you to a landing page with all the information you need.
-
Follow the steps outlined there to complete a participation contract with Challenge Roth and receive your starting documents.
-
In a word, no. The right is valid for a single participation in Challenge Roth within the 5-year validity period.
-
If you want to participate in Challenge Roth after this period, you have to book using the standard procedure even if you never used the guaranteed right to enter at all.
-
The deadline for a starting place in 2026 is 28th of February 2026.
-
For the following years, you must register by 1 April for a starting place in next year’s race (e.g., register by 1 April, 2026, for a starting place in 2027).
-
If you become ill or injured after claiming your guaranteed slot and confirming registration with Challenge Roth, your entry unfortunately can’t be postponed or carried over to another year.

Bike classification
Bikes of this category are designed for riding on hard-surface roads where the wheels remain in permanent contact to the ground. These are in general road racing bicycles with racing handlebars or straight handlebars, triathlon or time trial bicycles. The permissible maximum overall weight comprising rider, luggage and bicycle should not exceed 120 kg. Under certain circumstances this permissible maximum weight can be further limited by the component manufacturers’ recommendations for use. Proven cyclocross and gravel bikes with racing handlebars and cantilever or disc brakes are a special case in this category. In addition, these bikes are also suitable for gravel paths and off-road trails where a short loss of tyre contact with the ground due to small stairs or steps at a height of 15 to 20 cm can occur.
